TERM & POLICY INFORMATION
RESERVATIONS
Reservations may be made up to a year in advance. A 25% NON- REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of booking is required to guarantee your reservation.
Final payment must be made 1 week prior to set-up. Changes may be added not subtracted up to 1 week before event if inventory allows, however summer is our busy time and Oliver rentals can not guarantee changes made on short notice. Rental rates are for time out on rental, weather the item is used or not. Cancellations result in a loss of deposit.
PRICING AND DEPOSITS
Prices quoted are for one-day rentals unless otherwise noted .Weekly rates or long term rates are available- Inquire within.
Payment can be made by your credit card.
DELIVERY AND PICK-UP
Delivery and pick-up charges are based on the final size of the order as well as on the mileage to and from the location. These rates will be listed separately for your convenience.
Delivery and pick-up will be outside at ground level only. Special arrangements as well as additional costs must be made to deliver onto decks or up or down any stairs.
Drivers and road crews are not permitted to bring equipment into homes or buildings unless previous arrangements were made with Oliver rentals staff and indicated on invoice.
Chairs and tables will be delivered stacked and/or bagged. They must be stacked and/ or bagged for pick-up to avoid an additional charge.
Client is responsible for any damage which occurs should the equipment be exposed to the elements. It is highly recommended that the client be at the location for delivery and pick-up to protect the security deposit. If the client will not be at the location for pick -up and precipitation is in the forecast, Oliver Rental Centre requires that all equipment be left under overhangs covered with plastic drop cloth or tarps for protection.
Special delivery requests may be discussed with your rental specialist and can be arranged for an additional charge
CUSTOMER PICK-UPS
Oliver rental centre crew members will load and unload the equipment into your vehicle at our location. Client is responsible for securing items in their own vehicles should it be necessary.
Upon customer pick-up, information and instruction will be given regarding the proper handling and use of equipment. Client accepts responsibility for use and care after leaving our facility and should ask any questions as our specialist is reviewing information on site. We are here to help insure your event is a complete success and will take any time necessary to do so.
For customer pick-up and return, equipment will be counted as it goes out and comes in, insuring you have received and returned all items reserved.
WHEN RETURNING RENTALS
All food service items including dinnerware and flatware must be returned rinsed free of food items.
All glasses should be emptied and returned to there proper storage containers provided.
All linens should be shaken and free of any items and dried on tables before put in bags to prevent mould and mildew. An additional $5.00 per linen will be applied for candle wax removal.
Chairs and tables must be stacked and bagged properly on pallets provided.
It is not necessary to wash the items as they will be sanitized in house, however RETURN CLEAN AND SAVE CLEANING CHARGES.
DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS
Rental prices do not cover damaged or missing items. It is the "Renters" responsibility for any and all damages or loss while in the client's possession. Responsibility of equipment remains with the renter from the time of delivery until time of return. Damage incurred to rented equipment will require a charge of the full replacement cost of the goods damaged. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the elements. Additional charges will be issued for missing items, misused equipment or damaged or unusable linens. Equipment damaged beyond repair will be paid for at its fair market value at the time of its rental.
EQUIPMENT CARE
Client assumes responsibility for proper care of all rental equipment and agrees to pay for any damage or loss of the goods, regardless of cause, except reasonable wear & tear. Client also agrees to pay a reasonable cleaning charge, as determined by Oliver Rental Centre staff for equipment returned dirty.
